Revell's HO-scale Caboose is based on a Union Pacific prototype and according to the company's 1957-58 catalog featured an "exclusive LCG metal underframe."  The Caboose model included a plastic molded brakeman figure and retailed for $3.49 in the 1957-58 catalog.  The roadnumbers on the Caboose models match the Revell stock numbers.  The Union Pacific, for example, is shown carrying the number 4060 on its side, which is also the Revell product number (T4060).  Revell's Caboose roadnames are doubled from three to six in the 1958-59 catalog, with the model's retail dropping to $2.49 in '58.
