Similar to the Gondola, Revell calls its 50' Flat Car
in the 1957-58 catalog an Extra Long Flat Car. Revell produced two roadnames (Erie and Soo Line) for
this model, but had four different Flat Car offerings. The car could be purchased for $1.98 by itself
or one could have this car with Stakes and Log Load for $2.98. Revell makes no changes in roadnames or offerings of
the Flat Car models for 1958-59, but the price does go down. The Flat Car is listed
with a retail of $1.69 in '58 and the Flat Car with Stakes and Log Load is listed at $2.49 that year.
